Three days in Dublin, one clear signal: the future of airline retailing is agentic
Avsos joined APEX FTE Ancillary & Retailing 2026 in Dublin (Stand B7) — where the industry's verdict for 2026 matched our own thesis: ancillary is no longer a catalog problem, it's an optimization problem, and increasingly an autonomous one.
Avsos joined APEX FTE Ancillary & Retailing 2026 at the RDS in Dublin (Stand B7), and the timing felt almost scripted. With this year's theme — Transformative Approaches & Business Models — and a brand-new Agentic AI Day on the agenda, the entire show was talking about exactly what we've been building toward.
The industry's verdict, in content director Eric Léopold's framing: 2026 is the year of agentic retailing. Ours, for a while now: ancillary isn't a catalog problem — it's an optimization problem, and increasingly an autonomous one.
That's the Aviro thesis: Aviro IFR turns onboard retail into measurable yield, live with AJet and SunExpress. Aviro Optimizers decide what to offer, to whom, and when — lifting yield while cutting cost. Aviro Connect makes it all talk to the systems airlines already run, live with Turkish Airlines and SunExpress. And Aviro Agents is where this is heading: commercial decisions that run themselves, inside the guardrails airlines set.
We came to listen as much as to talk, and left more convinced than ever: the next leap in onboard revenue won't come from a bigger catalog, but from smarter, self-driving commercial decisions.
Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by B7 — airline commercial and digital teams, airport innovation leaders, and fellow builders. Dublin, you were good to us.
